Since I have been losing a lot of balls lately, I thought I would try some that are cheaper. Wouldn't you know, I didn't lose any during this round!

Lost Golf Balls

What is the most golf balls you have ever lost in a round?

I think for me it's 6. I was playing a course that has more water on it (Sonora GC). Lost 3 of those in the water. I kept just miss estimating my distance. I didn't have a range finder. So I was using the markers. I either hit too long or came up short. The other 3 went in the ravine or in the cactus and with rattlesnakes possibly around, I wasn't going searching.

I was playing just recently and lost 4 balls. But I also found 4 balls. So really I broke even. And, they looked almost like new balls (ones I found). Too bad they weren't Pro V1's! One was a Mizuno though. Three of my balls I lost were old golf balls. Ones I keep for playing off the tee where I tend to miss left into the trees and river.

Lately I have lots maybe 1 or 2a round at my municipal gc. The grass and weeds are high right now so it's not hard to do.

Anyway, I got kind of frustrated losing too many lately, so I went and bought some really cheap ones called, Stryker. I got 24 for $17.

I usually only buy Callaway SuperSoft, which is 12 for $25 and I really like how they play, for less than $30. I will play those cheap ones until they catch up with the mowing at my home course. I don't want to be that guy looking for my golf ball for 10 minutes!

So here are a couple of other questions! What are the cheapest ball and most expensive ball you have played? Nitro would probably be my cheapest and of course Titleist Pro V the most expensive. I really like the Pro V but just not going to spend that much to play and risk losing them with as much as I play.
